What This Session Was About
Neurodiversity is still treated as an edge case in most workplace technology conversations. This session argued the opposite: designing AI tools that genuinely support neurodiverse employees isn't a special case — it's a model for how AI should work for all of us.
We explored the specific features within Microsoft 365 and Copilot that make the biggest practical difference for people with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other cognitive differences — and discussed how to move from "accommodation" to genuine inclusion.
Key Topics
- What neurodiversity means in a workplace technology context
- Microsoft 365 features that make a real difference: Immersive Reader, Focus Mode, AI summaries
- How Copilot reduces cognitive load in ways that benefit neurodiverse users most visibly
- From accessibility to inclusion: the organizational shift
