What This Session Was About
Duolingo didn't become the world's most-used language learning app because learning languages is fun. It became that because they are absolutely obsessed with the UX of motivation — the streaks, the progress bars, the celebrations, the gentle shame of a broken streak.
This session reverse-engineered that obsession and showed exactly how to apply those same patterns to Canvas Apps in Power Platform. Live demos, real before-and-after examples, and a framework for thinking about every app you build through the lens of: would anyone choose to use this?
